Introduction to BISE Malakand:
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Malakand (BISE Malakand) is a government body for education in Malakand disc. The function of the borad is to conduct examinations of SSC(9th/10th Class) and HSSC (11th/12th Class) and to prepare the result under its juristic area. The establishment of BISE Malakand is yet another expression of the government resolve to make accessible education to all at their doorsteps. Following areas fall under Malakand Board jurisdiction.
- Malakand District, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, also known as Malakand Protected Area
- Malakand Agency, a tribal area in the North West Frontier Province before 1970
- Malakand Division, an administrative division between 1970 and 2000

Malakand Board Matriculation Exams:
The Malakand Board conducts examination of Matriculation under its jurisdiction in the month of march every year. Students are asked to bring their SSC Matric Roll Number slips along with them in examination hall, whether students are taking annual or supplementary exams of SSC part-1 and 2. The examination hall could be any school or college building declared by BISE Malakand Board on your roll number slip.
The students who not registered to bise MKD, are not eligible to take exams under board’s jurisdiction. Once they are enrolled for bise MKD Board, they are allowed to take admission to get 10th class roll number slip. At Matriculation level the Board awards certificates for two groups of subjects:
- Arts or Humanities
Some subjects like English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pak-Studies, are compulsory for every student taking part in exams. However, students or arts and science can take extra four subject. Arts students have numerous option to take any four subjects, however, the science students have to take Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, and they have choice between Biology and Computer Science. So, they are called either the students of Computer Science, or Bio-Science. The subject you choose in Matric have great impact what you will have choice in Intermediate. So, whatever you choose, select carefully, according to your or your parents’ future plan for yourself.
BISE Malakand Board Announces Matric (9th and 10th) Result:
